			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hi Overflow,</p><p>First, sorry for the long delay in coming back to you but I didn&#039;t have access to this laptop again until today.</p><p>I tried it without resealing the image with sysprep and simply imaging the completed setup and restoring it back to the laptop and I get the exact same error on the same device : Code 10 Can not start.</p><br /><p>Sigmatel High Definition Audio CODEC<br />DriverDate : 06/05/2007<br />Version : 5.10.5511.0</p><p>If you need me to do any test, please let me know.</p><p>Thanks,</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hi OverFlow...</p><p>I&#039;m not using RIS.<br />I am installing on a virtual machine and then imaging this VM after an unattended install of XP + several programs) with Acronis and restoring back.<br />I am using SysPrep though, but I don&#039;t use entries in sysprep files for drivers : I let the DevicePath entry in registry do its job which would be more or less the same than without SysPrep ?<br />If you want, I&#039;ll try to use without SysPrep (restoring an image right after the unattended setup has ended before having resealed the VM).</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>not a good presumtion... sysprep is subject to different limitations than windows so method is important to consider.<br />IE HWIDs can not be duplicated for sysprep - windows does not suffer from this limitation<br />therefore a duplicated HWID may be your issue and it would then also be method related...</p><p>I asked you to try it with normal driverpack integration to prove or disprove this theory since you have the hardware to do it.</p><p>You politely declined ... no i take that back it was not polite. </p><p>&quot;no idea about &#039;normal&#039; method as have no reason to use it.&quot;</p><p>I gave you a valid reason - so we might be able to help you - <br />even though this is not a supported method I was still going to assist you.<br />Seems like the best reason there is</p><p>help us to help you..</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hi, no idea about &#039;normal&#039; method as have no reason to use it.<br /> This is about a sound issue rather than a method issue as ultimately they are doing the same thing in the PnP detection stages, at least as far as I know, (but I stand to be corrected.)<br />Anyway this has been an ongoing issue specific to Sigmatel drivers for over half a year with same problem, I think Jaak was looking into it as its a known issue people have reported in the past but as yet not heard anything else about it. <br />Its becoming abit of a major headache because appart from this everything else is on the whole working flawlessly on all other machines except Sigmatel HD audio ones.<br />Installing the driver from Dells site for example always works fine afterwards, but this defeats the object.</p>]]></content>

(Code 10)&#039; as have always had.<br />The driver versions its using is 5.10.5511.0</p><p>HDAUDIO\FUNC01&amp;VEN_8384&amp;DEV_7690&amp;SUBYS_10280201&amp;REV_1022\4&amp;3474892&amp;0&amp;0001</p><p>KB888111 is installed, thi is same issue for any mahcine using Sigmatel audio.</p><p>In control panel is an icon &#039;IDT Audio Control Panel&#039; and clicking this gives error <br />&#039;IDT Audio driver is inaccesable. <br />Please make sure it is installed and enabled&#039;</p><p>[I am using sysprep method]</p>]]></content>
