Yes this worked. I did not copy the INF or the Dll and rolled back to "SATA300TX Series Windrv 1.00.0.39"
and I'm able to see the hard drives attached to the Promise card.

I'll just have to remember to manually roll back that driver when I make my BartPE disk.

That's fine. A massstorage driver dosn't require *.inf or *.dll at BartPE.

Also ULSATA2.sys new version does not work.

I understand: the new driver dosn't support old hardware.

I can manually copy the 3 files after the BartPE build then use Bart PE to create the ISO.

Can you try again, downgrade ULSATA2.sys only. Do you get acess to TX4302?

These drivers are in the MassStorage driverpack. For some reason the DLL & INF are not being copied during BartPE build. Also ULSATA2.sys
new version does not work. I can manually copy the 3 files after the BartPE build then use Bart PE to create the ISO.

This works but it should work from the MassStorage driverpack.

you need to add the F6 drivers into a subfolder of the \Drivers\ folder and let the builder add them for you
manualy adding them will not work

I'm still working on getting the Promise STAT 300 TX4302 working with the Latest DPBase & MassStorage driverpack.

I got the driver working by
Running DPBase and making the plugin containing, MassStorage, LAN, WLAN.
running BartPE Builder.
Then I copied:
ULSATA2.sys
Ulutil2.dll
UlSATA2.Inf

to where they belong.

Ulutil2.dll
UlSATA2.Inf
dont exist in the BartPE directory.

Im thinking that is why it does not work.

I'll keep working on it.

This Promise TX4 T4302 is not working anymore.

HWID: Promise STAT300 TX4 PCI\VEN_105A&DEV_3D17&SUBSYS_3D17105A&REV_02\3&267A616A&0&58

The HWID is comig up as a TX4 but it is a T4302.

HWID in Device Manager in Vista:

You had it working in previous DriverPacks but I'm using:
DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_805

Im creating a BartPE disk. When I boot from the CD or Thumbdrive The Promise card has no driver.

I had no time to run a basic test, and I had forgotten to rename the ulsata2.sys to sata4302.sys in \PB.

I'm trying the test DP and getting this error:

Critical Error
Failed to CAB compress C:\Driverpack\tmp\DPMtemp\D\M\PB\sata4302.sys to
C:\REATOGO-240\plugin\DriverPacks.net\MassStorage\wnt5\SATA4302.sy_

Thasks for your assistance, hopefully we can get this working..
