Hi, Im sort of a noob, but heres my question. I put all 11 driver packs into my windows xp cd, following all guides instructions. everything went fine, even the installation. However, on what would be first boot, where it would run the intro to xp, it crashes, a fast flash of blue screen of death, then my monitor has the error about "cannot read MHZ Please try changing your Rezolution" So I made the disk again, without the video card packs. Problem still occured. So i did it again and again, finally removing only the Mass Storage Driver pack. Problem solved. However, Without it i cannot install onto my new SATA drive, the whole point of the whole thing.

Has anyone else had a problem like this? heres my pc info if its needed,

Amd athalon 64, 3200+ 1 gyg ram,

Nvidia FX 5600 AGP 8 256mb video card

K8T Neo-FIS2R mother board by MSI

Samsung HD501LJ sata 500 gyg hard drive

maxtor 6y200p 200 gyg ide hard drive

wdc 1600 jb Western digital 160 gyg hard drive

I think thats all the pertenent information.

I couldnt find any information on simular problems. Please help me i really want ot use my new hard drive!.
Thanks
