I've had plenty of experiences with Sigmatel and SoundMAX detecting as C-Media. I guess I know why now

Also I don't think that I've ever even seen a computer with a C-Media sound chip.

For some reason this is detecting as a Sigmatel when it is in fact a SoundMAX. Using the driver located in SM\I\2 works.
