I don't understand why they want to drop support for older HWIDs when they publish a new version.

You know, if I had all the intel hardware to test on, I"d be making an experimental pack where the newer gets the "dropped" HWIDS injected right back into the driver.
As is, I cannot and I think I cannot ask members they try an experimental like this.

Oh, that whatsitcalled "Hi Def Media Interface or something"? I believe we have had DriverPacks versions where they were not included.

I wish somebody from Intel responsible for this chaos would see your list. I think if they want they could conclude all drivers with version number 6.14.10.xxxx to one archive. They have demonstrated for example with their chipset collection that they can if they want.

I addition to my dream there is a suggestion we can really do. I saw the HDMI subdirectory under I\1 and I\3 containing the same HWIDs but two diffrent version and an extra copy of their files in the named parent directories.
We should reduce this to one directory. I would even suggest to move this to one of the sound packages since this is more an audio then a graphics driver. It has only the connector common with graphic hardware.
