Hi Jake,

Back again, OK, it's all good news, it's found and installed the sound card, version # 5.12.1.514, date 13/06/2007 or 6/13/2007 which ever way.

So I guess you'll tidy it up, and post it in the main directory.

Again, I really appreciate your help...no matter how good of a job one does..there's always an exception, isn't there

So could this have been done thru a 3rd Party Driver Pack...if I knew what I was doing ??? But I guess you'd prefer to have it in the the mainstream packs.

Hi again, Jake,

Well, I have been trying to make a 3rd party pack for these audigy drivers, I've followed the instructions from the 2 guides that are available, and I'm disappointed to say, that I haven't had any luck, and I've tried about 6 different ways

I think it might be the folder set up that is the problem.

So I guess I'll have to wait for someone that knows what they're doing.

I found the problem. Driverpack Sound A use an older version of this driver that does not support your card. I will update it and make a test pack.

Can you provide a link for your driver and the needed HWIDS as well ? Use save_hwids located in my sig.

I have just started using these brilliant driver packs, and I used the Sound A package, as it has the most Creative drivers, and unfortunatley doesn't seem to set up my Audigy Value card under XP Pro.

Can someone please double check this for me...

I might try and create my own 3rd party drivers for it
