These files are very necessary to Me!</p></blockquote></div><p>Basically, ini files are not needed for those driverpacks.</p><p>Why are they needed in the first place?&nbsp; We use the .ini files to make exceptions for the DPfinisher.<br />For instance, you wouldn&#039;t want the ATI Catalyst Control Center to install if you have an nVidia card, so in the Graphics_A DP we wrote an exception that roughly reads:<br />IF EXIST C:\ATICCC.ins file AND the D\G\A\1\*.inf file contains a matching HWID for the system THEN EXECUTE D\G\A\1\ATICCC.exe</p><p>Easy.<br />Custom .ini files can be written in the same manner if you need it.&nbsp; Or you can post a formal request and we can take care of it if it would benefit everyone.</p><p>I hope this explains it for you better.</p>]]></content>
