Would it be possible to integrate the ATI HDMI audio driver in one of the next audiopacks ? Currently it is not available for download but all buyers of ATI 2400/2600 video cards have them on the CD that is packed with the card. I could upload it for you if you wish.

PS: For info: the new ATI video cards have a  soundcard on board.
