yes, im getting the same error, and i think i know, why it occours!

the path "\$OEM$\$1\D\C\I\xp\" is not existing in my cd-directory! there is a second "D" directory in the tree, sometink like that:
"\$OEM$\$1\D\D\C\I\xp\"

so the setup cant copy a file, that dosnt exist, because the path is wrong!

i think that is a bug big_smile

and yes, im using it without QSC...

I ran a test, and another, and another.

when I changed \xp to XP, and ran it WITH QSC, no $oem$  error

then, used a fresh extract with fresh copies.
when I used xp (the way it is in the release), WITH QSC, I still do NOT have that $oem$ error.

when I deleted the QSC folder (stil with lower case for \xp), and ran WITHOUT create QSC, bingo, I got the error.

thx for your fast response.

I know the problem you mentioned with the "ultra" long Path - i dont use this in order to slipstream the drivers.
I do this to get all the drivers packed so i can use the Quickstream Cache as a great Driver repository ( small enough to fill a normal CD)

I will look wether xp has to be upper case or lower case.
However, I can already tell you you have way too many drivers included for method 1.

(this won't work... only do this IF you want to use the disc as driver disc only, not as installer...)
