It looks to me like the bcmwl5.sys, in this newer 4.10.40.11 version, is a direct replacement/update to the driver currently in BR\D\2 and DE folders of the WLAN DriverPack. The other 2 files, bcm43xx.cat and bcmwl5.inf, are likewise direct replacements.
The DELL webpage says "US only", but the inf is multilanguage, as was the 4.10.40.0 version, and lists all the same cards. I think the updated files should be used in the referenced WLAN folders, but you guys do have the final say.
Thanks for listening and Thank You for the hard work put into all the DriverPacks.

[edit]
P.S.- I can e-mail a rar (247KB) of the 3 files needed if you don't want to waste time downloading the other 48MB (of utilities) in the package.

Only for US residents, huh?

I'm wondering how this driver will behave regarding different channels allowed or forbidden by local law.
AFAIK, the US uses less channels than Europe (only up to 11 compared to 13).
In that case, we'd be better off using the non-US restricted driver for max. bandwidth throughput.

...unless of course your main priority is complying with US laws...
