Not working still ( same issue on D620 and D820

HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8384&DEV_7690&SUBSYS_102801C2&REV_1022\4&10575340&0&0001: SigmaTel High Definition Audio CODEC

D620 with above HWID does not detect audio with current packs.

(Driver is in pack here DP_Sound_B_wnt5_x86-32_707.7z\D\S\S\D\3)

Hi
the wait was long.
After looking at what was needed and doublechecking..
(them inis are like little snakes in the grass)
And fter checks for overlap, I did eventually wind up doing exactly the same.
(With just a descriptive foldername added).
I used the Dell620sigmatel driver which was in REQUESTS on FTP for a good while, and end result is exactly what Fragbert has offered for so long.

I have made a modified DP Sound B that includes Dell's specific Sigmatel audio driver. Please let me know if this works for you (it did for me!). I used the driver found here:
http://ftp.us.dell.com/audio/R122161.EXE and put them in a new folder called "3" in D\S\S\D
