oops
posted about Jmicron in wrong topic

at the moment, a test version has the proliant scsi, but it skips them for xp and wk2.
this has this section in INI

[C]
ms_count             = 1
ms_1_deviceName = "Compaq server HP ProLiant 32-Bit SCSI Controllers"
ms_1_tag            = "CPQ32FS2"
ms_1_sysFile        = "CPQ32FS2.SYS"
ms_1_hwids = "PCI\VEN_1000&DEV_0003,PCI\VEN_1000&DEV_000f,PCI\VEN_1000&DEV_000b,PCI\VEN_1000&DEV_000c,PCI\VEN_1000&DEV_0001,PCI\VEN_1000&DEV_000a,PCI\VEN_1000&DEV_0012"
ms_1_isBusExtender    = false
ms_2_exc_skipIfOS    = "wxp,w2k"

if you comment out ms_2_exc_skipIfOS = "wxp,w2k" then it works for XP and win2k as well.
then repack, and you can use this
or make it ms_2_exc_skipIfOS = "w2k" if you do not use windows 2000.

------
jahci lists only two generic hwids and specific Hwids in raid or ahci are different..
hmmmmmmm. could that be our solution?

i testinstalled a nice driver-included xp_corp with the recent 7.04 stuff of driverpacks , but i saw that on some hp server with a HP smart array controller 6400 (also knows 5x or 6x) the hdds werent supported.. i did F6 disk option and included via disk , then it worked..

would be nice if you would include in further updates this pack:

cp007096.exe // known as : HP ProLiant Smart Array 5x and 6x Controller Driver for Windows 2000/Windows Server 2003
version 5.74.0.32   (13 Dec 06)

and downloadable here:

http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files … 26032.html

while i tested this i can say that it works proper for winXP_corp or _oem , with SP2 . so why not include... HP says works only with win2000or2003 , but xp works

is it ok to post missing drivers in this sub-forum?
