I have integrated the latest driver packs with the latest driver base, and I keep getting a BSOD on setup stating that portcls.sys has crashed. I seen a few other posts on here but not a clear answer as to solve this issue with the driver.

I can reboot and then continue setting up XP completely. But the Realtek AC97 drivers are not loaded. When I try to load the drivers from within XP it crashes everytime once the drivers start installing.

What is the thing to do?

Thanks alot.
