Just to inform everyone of the issue and how I resolved it, it turns out when using imagex to mount the boot image you need to specify 2 rather than 1 after the image path. Once I did that I had a successful boot image that can be used with WDS.

Example:

imagex /mountrw "\\servername\REMINST\Boot\x64\Images\boot.wim" 2 mount

I just started working with WDS and decided to come see about Vista support again and was pleasantly surprised that my suggestion took off so popularly. I've been trying to get my Precision M4400 with Intel 825xx Gigabit Ethernet to recognize but have had no luck so far even after integrating drivers from Dell. I'm not sure what is going on there.

Hi Mr Smartepants !

So how would you get access to the testers group ? I would like to help test driverpacks for Vista if possible. I do have access to quite a few computers since I am working as an IT administrator :-)
