anyway, this has already been done.
from current changelog
Fixed
- AC\1\2k removed since AC\1\xp supported this with newer driver (jtdoom and OverFlow)
- AC\1\xp moved to AC\1 for folder optimisation (jtdoom and OverFlow)
- C\4 removed, device is supported by O\7 (jtdoom and OverFlow)
- MI folder reference changed for BartPE (Muiz, jtdoom and OverFlow)
- N\3 folder reference changed for BartPE (jtdoom and OverFlow)
- SB\2 folder reference changed for BartPE (jtdoom and OverFlow)
- SM\3 folder reference changed for BartPE (jtdoom and OverFlow)
- SM\7 folder reference changed for BartPE (jtdoom and OverFlow)
- TR\2 removed, duplicate of T\1 (OverFlow)

when I check above;
SU\7 currently has ne2000.sys in it (because that was the internal name of this file)
So, most, if not all fixing was done already.

I will send an Excell file to Muiz, so he knows what was done during the last two days..
yes, 7.06 is almost ready for publication.
OverFlow is probably looking at the work, and doublechecking it.
GRIN, despite that, NO, it is not going to be a loooooong changelog.

on the files contained in subfolders...i'm not sure if Windows will automatically search for these files in subfolders or not. but other software that parses the infs still have problems with the files being in different locations. if the drivers work as far as Windows is concerned then don't bother fixing them.

\BE\1 :
gewmi.mof is definitely referenced, but i don't know if it's even needed. i was prolly wrong about this one but i dunno. will find out later.

folder is bare except for a single INF. INF contains following reference:
[ne2000.CopyFiles]
ne2000.sys,,,2

i'm no expert, so i could be totally wrong, just trying to help out. peace

\BE\1 the inf doesnt mention gewmi.mof
\MI do you mean they have to be all in the same folder?
\N\3 do you mean it has to be in the same folder?
\SM\3 ,6 do you mean they have to be all in the same folder?
\SM\7 the driver only contains EP427.SYS not the one you said

If so then i will correct this in next version of LAN

couple INF problems in the LAN pack:

\BE\1 missing gewmi.mof (referenced by GigaNIC.inf)
\MI missing MN110-50.sys (MN110.inf) (these 3 are in MI\Drivers)
\MI missing MN120-51.sys (MN120.inf)
\MI missing MN130-51.sys (MN130.inf)
\N\3 missing FA410ND5.sys (NETFA410.inf) (located in \N\3\WIN2k)
\SM\3 missing SMCEZ251.sys (NETSMCEZ.inf) (these 2 are in \L\SM\3\Windows)
\SM\3 missing SMCEZ250.sys (NETSMCEZ.inf)
\SM\6 missing SMCUSB.sys (SMCUSB.inf) (located in \SM\6\Windows)
\SU\7 missing ne2000.sys (EP427.inf)
