The majority of our systems have cruddy onboard Intel graphics chipsets. These are a new range we are evaluating with dual head cards. The build currently works with the atiicdxx.dll file in the $OEM$\$1\bin folder, so it's not a huge problem.

There must be an issue with the ATi installer which points to the $OEM$\$1\bin folder. I have had a look at the driver file, but can't see anything obvious. To be honest, I'm not 100% sure where to look.

There is a reluctance to slipstream dotnet framework in our environment, but if this is necessary to be able to use these boards then in it must go. I am creating a new build at present and will report back when this has been tested.

dotnet framework now slipstreamed. The error at logon has now gone - which has obviously been corrected by dnfw.

The other error during DPS_Fnshr still exists

I take it you did not slipstream the .NEt framework?
This is obligatory for using the CCC, of which CLI.EXE is part.
Either switch to the Cp or slipstream the FW!

During the DPSFnshr, a window pops up which requires attention.
The window title is: 126
The message is: C:\bin\atiidxx.dll
DPSFinisher is unable to complete until OK has been clicked.
On logon, an error message appears.
The error title is: CLI.EXE
The message is: The application failed to initialize properly (0X0000135). Click OK to terminate.


I have tried searching but have been unable to find any other threads with this error. I got an error when I tried to insert the DPSFnshr.log - the post was too long.
