That is one very weird problem then, since the exact same settings file (that defines which files must be CAB compressed) for ANY installation platform (not to mention the fact there is not a separate slipstream module for RIS yet).

It might be useful to enable the DriverPacks BASE's debug mode to get some extra debug info to work with. Please submit this issue to the bugtracker and also include the log file of the BASE after it was run in debug mode. You can enable debug mode by adding this entry to your DPs_BASE.ini:

Apparently, it does. Just tested the same XP source media without RIS preparation and with the same DPBase.ini - worked like a charm.

I'm also preping a RIS image.
I always make my builds (RyanVM + DP) on my pc, in this way can distibute the build on different ris servers.

My OS is WinXP Dutch with location Netherlands(Belgium) and Belgium keyboard.
I have a batch file that starts the RyanVM integrator with in his time starts DP

I have the space too in my log :
Failed to CAB compress F:\RIS_Build\RIS_Target\I386\adpu160m .sys to F:\RIS_Build\RIS_Target\I386\adpu160m .sy_.

I just downloaded the new MassStorage this morning and use it without and adjustments.

Must be a programmatic issue though, if the space is indeed the source of the problem. The file itself is present in the i386-folder without spaces. I'm guessing something goes wonkers in the compression routine.

Nope, haven't touched a thing. Fresh i386 dir, just downloaded the new DriverPacks etc. Only thing I did differently from before was to update DPBase with the updatechecker.
