Nope, see the DP MassStorage 7.01 changelog:

- VIA RAID Controllers driver updated from 10/25/2005, 5.1.2600.520 [5.20] to 11/08/2006, 5.1.2600.540 [5.40a] (Muiz)

But this driver is already implemented, as the topic title says, but this topic wasn't closed just yet. Now it is.
