Memory problems CAN CAUSE many of the problems with 2000/XP/2003 and Vista installs.
If I find a problem with installs I run Memtest and usually find a memory problem.

Just thought I would add my 2 cents worth in there.

The only thing I can ask is this: how long ago did you install Windows on this system? Because it's definitely unstable if a non-CPU-intensive program like the DriverPacks BASE can make your pc reboot...

It always get my windows system get rebooted, some dialog box appear from windows OS itself telling about "get serious error" something like that and also about "drwatson".
