That microsoft update is for all Powernow! AMD processor, but the away driver that Bashrat has released some months ago, maybe is bugged because the AMD processor isn't recognized well. I think that driver isn't very useful, because with AMD drivers works well.

remember that some computers were hanging / didn't recognize that AMD CPU with CPU Driverpack?

Well, microsoft established an update:

which fixes something on AMD CPU. Maybe that fixes the directintegration of that driver as well?
