I have torrented all the required driver pack .7z files and I have them located in my G: drive. I moved the files into the DriverPacks folder (directory before it is the one with the base program).

Is there a bat file or something that I can use to make the drivers install/update automatically? (For Win 7, 8, 8.1, and 10)

It's a brilliant, simple tool 10gig on a stick just run the exe, click a few boxes job done!

this was using R326

1 x old win 7 x64 updated all perfectly without any issues or effort.  (lots of kit had later drivers)

1 x new build win 7 32 bit Dell Inspiron laptop.  Again dead simple all seems to be working, picked up calling quite few bits of hardware by different names !!!  I didn't get round to checking HDMI sound or the Webcam microphone.  Webcam comes up as windows generic driver 

1 x Vista 32 bit.  This one seems to come up short.  It doesn't check/come up with any new graphics, network or sound drivers.  (nor TV card but is this in the pack ???) even though the ones on the machine are ancient  And one Intel storage Ultra ATA controller (24DB) came up unsigned and waited for me to confirm go ahead anyway.

1 x Win 10 x64, quick pass on same Dell laptop, it only updated the missing Ricoh card reader and one other (I forget what), which seems odd as it was a clean install of Win 10 Pro x 64 lots of the core hardware had Windows generic drivers dated 2006 !!!

Download AutoDISMx86x64.

Above script works both in Windows 7 and Windows 8 but applicable only for Windows 7 x86 / x64.

I work at a company that refurbis laptop's, now i know how to make an universal image of windows 7,

but how does it work with windows vista?

We use FOG as a PXE server and i wanna make a universal image so evry brand laptop we can install automaticly with Driverpacks

Is this possible?

I"m posting here because after googling I found that this site has the most out of the box thinking when it comes to figuring things out.  I have posted this question in 2 forums (I changed the question slightly) and I realized that although those folks were helping, I could not use their advise due to the unique scenario I have.

For my question, please do not suggest MDT, WDS, SCCM Acronis etc as I can't use it.  Well I can, however, I'm working on an image for a remote site that currently does not have servers.  Eventually they will so I need to create a (probably)  USB flash drive that is self contained with the images/drivers etc.  I can figure out the rest as long as I can overcome the following

I think I need to use the "SetupComplete.cmd" script to do the following

use WMIC to detect the hardware and either do the following

1. Copy the appropriate folder with the drivers into c:\windows\inf        or
2. Use Dism to inject the appropriate drivers                                       or
3. Add the folders that contained the drivers each in its own model into c:\windows\inf

Reason

We are doing massive imaging.  My plan is to have a SysPrep image.  So when it boots up the SetupComplete.cmd will detect the hardware and install the correct drivers based on my 3 questions (unless you can think of a different way)

Once I have the logic of installing the drivers, I will have the WIM and applied to 1 drive which will be the master.  Using this master we will close many hard drives using a Disk Duplicator machine which can do multiple hard drives at one.  Since we have 4 of these duplications we can prep many drives

I know I can use in SetupComplete.cmd  ->  wmic computesystem to find the model
Then I can't figure out the rest.

Or should I just store the 3 folders with the drivers for 3 models of desktops in c:\windows\inf and let windows pick.  I much rather use logic in a the script and make it install the correct drivers.

I am currently installing windows onto computers using a sysprepped machine and creating the images with acronis which is working fine - I have all my images stored on a server which I restore using acronis boot disk.

I have all the driver packs also stored on the server with a tool to install them but after a clean image the lan driver rarely is included meaning I cant connect to the server - My question is how can I add all the lan drivers to the master image so that when the image is restored it will install the lan driver? (I know there may still be the odd machine which wont hav the lan driver in the pack but the majority of machines will which I can put up with)

The way im doing it at the moment is using a samdrivers disk after the image is complete

What is the easiest way to go about doing this? I deal with a lot of Vista and Win 7 machines, and having the drivers autoinstall while loading the OS would be a LIFESAVER.

Can SAD2 be used to integrate drivers into an ISO?

or is it only for existing installations?

if I can integrate into an ISO, I'd like to be able to do it for XPSP3, Vista and Win7

1.) is there a way to create anything like driverpack base for windows 7 and Vista - where you can slipstream driverpacks into a windows boot CD and it will autoinstall all drivers while loading the OS? Have read a lot of conflicting posts on this...

2.) If so, is there a complete tutorial available like for the driverpack BASE that I can use (step by step) so I won't screw it up again - I ended up very confused about this.

3.) If not - is there anything close to this? What is the easiest way to go about doing this? I deal with a lot of Vista and Win 7 machines, and having the drivers autoinstall while loading the OS would be a LIFESAVER.
