[CLSD] How can I add DriverPacks to Hiren's Boot?

Newbie here. I am making a custom Hiren's Boot image that I want to add DriverPacks to. But I'm not exactly sure of how to go about this because it's not a typical live system. Does anyone know whether Hiren's Boot already has the DriverPacks installed/enabled, or if not, how to add them to the "Mini XP" system?

I hope this isn't violating any rules already, because I don't believe HBCD is the dirty w-word or anything. It's not an "official" PE environment that you build with your own XP, but it is a commonly recommended tool even for technicians. I am not a technician myself but am sort of familiar with slipstreaming drivers into XP images with tools like nLite. I'm just not sure of how to do this with a nonstandard setup like HBCD.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

S.A.D. and XP(Bootable) DUAL DVD.

Driver Packs team is always saying that if you extract all drivers in the DVD or If you use Method1. It will become space pincher.
If I planned to make XP Disc, definately I choose DVD. So there is no worry of space>>
XP and Softs(1GB)+Driverpacks(3GB)

Either I use method1 or method2. All the drivers will be copied to C:
M2:I think DP deletes it after setup. but it was there in my c, I am unable to delete Audio drivers it says access denied...(I think my system is using it).
As per msfn.org Method1 will also copy the content to C.

I have slipstreamed office07 and essential softs using RunOnceEx.cmd. I am thinking to burn S.A.D. in Bootable XP DVD and call DP_Install_Tool.cmd through RunOnceEx.cmd.
So there is no extraction in my C:, No wait for unzipping DPacks.

Also I can Use same DVD as S.A.D by making EXE to ask>what to install?
XP, DrivrPacks, Office or ..?

Is it right way? Plz guide me...

[Solved] Question about SAD2

Hi, i just made a SAD2 folder for my USB Hard Disk and the NT5 part works like a charm but i have a question about the NT6 for Vista/7, the instructions says that i should extract the driver packs to a folder for example in x86 for 32 bit packs in NT6\x86\D but what i notice is that there's no dpinst.exe in that folder, is it because its not required for the Vista/7 method? or because im missing something, because when i run the batch it says "Please wait for the Microsoft tool to complete it's job"

Here is a link to a screenshot of my folder structure:

http://img600.imageshack.us/img600/5536/sad2o.jpg

[SLVD] DriverPacks extract; windows doesn't find any drivers

I have been using DriverPacks for a while. I just ran into a strange issue.

My driverpacks extract. Everything goes smoothly. When the system starts up, all of the devices are missing drivers. I do a quick grep of the inf's for the hardware id's and all of the hardware id's are there. I can even install the drivers if I point them to the folder with the driver. But it is no longer installed during setup.

Any idea what issue could be causing this?

Couldn't find an attach button for the DPsFnshr.log

dp-base does not list all of the driverpacks in driverpacks directory

I have been using dp-base for awhile as well as the driverpacks. I just downloaded the latest and noticed that there were some additional driverpacks that were not listed as 3rd party. Like DP_LAN-RIS_wnt5_x86-32_1011.7z and DP_Runtimes_wnt5_x86-32_1011.7z as well as graphics - languages and physx, but when I run dp-base they are not listed in the update page or the list to choose which ones to slipstream.

Should these driverpacks be put in the driverpacks diretory or in the 3rd party directory. I have run several queries on the internet to try and find out where they should go, but I have found no lists whatsoever as to their correct location. I have read that dp-base will not use 3rd party driverpacks that are in the driverpacks directory. So where should they be placed so that they will be used?

I hope that I am not the only one with this question in mind.
