i'm trying using the DriverPacks Base 10.06. i download the Sound A and B Packs and i add them on Windows XP iso.
until here fine. i installed normaly, and all drivers was installed(except the card reader and other). the sound driver isn't working and i don't know why. it's 'Audio_Conexan_6.13.10.8335_XPx86'. i get '!' by some reason and i don't know how change the Sound A or B.
so heres my question: how can i use\add installer drivers on DriverPacks Base 10.06? or i must create, 1st, the Driver Pack with my laptop drivers?

I have downloaded the Chipset 12.09, Lan 12.05, Mass Storage 12.09, and WLAN 12.02 packs.  I copied them to the "DriverPacks" sub directory (with the Base folder).  I did NOT extract them - they are pasted in there exactly as they were downloaded (still as a .7z, didn't even rename the file)

When I launch Base 10.06, the "UpdateChecker for NT5 DriverPacks" detects all 4 driver packs (as well as Base).  On the "Select location of platform screen", I browsed to my plugin directory, and chose BartPE from the options.

This is where my problem occurs... when I click on > to go to the next page, the only packs I can select to slipstream are the LAN and WLAN.  The check boxes for the Chipset and the Mass Storage are grayed out.  However, "DriverPack MassStorage text mode" is active and checked.

I tried re-downlading the Chipset and Mass Storage packs, but I'm still having the same problem.  What am I missing?  I'm creating the image based on Windows XP SP3, and I'm running Base from Windows XP SP3.  Below is the DPs_BASE.log file:

edit:  I went ahead and let it create the plugins, and it only created directories for BASE, LAN, MassStorage, and WLAN (no Chipset).  No option in the plugins list for PEBuilder either (yes, I refreshed it)

I use nlite to integrate stuff, then use driver packs integration ,and final making iso with nlite

I create an unattended windows xp version with Nlite , updates , hotfixes, and other things but without integrating drivers into Nlite .

At first I could integrate the drivers with Drivers Base without any problem. But then for some reason while I was editing the installation of windows , began to give me the error : dpsfnshr.exe not found during the first login. And the drivers were not installed .

At first I thought I was wrong in the method of integration. Then install the drivers first, before Nlite . But it appeared the error dpsfnshr.exe not found.

Then install the drivers after Nlite and followed with the same error . The drivers do not install .

All the tests I've done have always been clean installation.

Reviewing the problem , I saw Drivers Base modifies 3 files , DOSNET.INF , TXTSETUP.SIF and WINNT.SIF .

If first modify the installation of windows with Nlite and then integrated the drivers , get those 3 files without the modifications made by the Nlite .

But if I install the drivers first , then use Nlite, the same thing happens, Nlite modifies the files and drivers are not installed .

I do not know what to do ?

I create the new XP CD With all the recente updates. i also installed it to make sure i was woking. However  when integratign the driverpacks I get

I'm using DPs_BASE.exe version 1006 and disabled QSC.
(Ignore the folder name indicating RVM the actual contents used were clean vol license XP SP3 source and no customizations made at all.)

There are 3 hotfixes in the 'bin\wnt5_x86-32' folder;
KB883667.7z, KB888111.7z, KB921401.7z

If I expand svcPack.IN_ I see

I was suprised to see they weren't mentioned here. Also the folder i386\hotfixes doesn't exist.

I did locate newdev_SP1.dll which is inside KB883667.7z  inside the I386 folder, but couldn't find it's accompanying KB883667.CAT file.

But then how were they integrated ? Were they slipstreamed ? Can a hotfix be slipstreamed ?

And won't that be a problem as my memory is hazy, but if I remember well Microsoft said qChain.EXE had to be applied before any other hotfixes.
